Keep TeleDrive running in the background

Would it be possible to add an option like "Keep TeleDrive running in the background"? Something that keeps the app running even if it uses more battery

My device (Android 15) is relatively underpowered and seems to shut down TeleDrive after a while in the background. I don’t see TeleDrive listed among running services or in the cache. I’ve also already followed the recommendations from Don’t Kill My App

There have been times when I've had to open the app myself to back up my photos. Yesterday afternoon I had some photos to back up, and when I checked today, they hadn't been backed up.

TeleDrive doesn't need to stay open to back up. With "Back up new media instantly" on, Android wakes it when new photos are added, and it also runs a scheduled backup based on the backup interval. That's why it doesn't show as a running service. A permanent background service wouldn't help much on Android 15, since the system limits how long those can run.
