Repository navigation
NHAppAndroid v1.1.1
Scope: commits from Aug 17–20, 2025. The update sharpens navigation, stabilizes the grid, improves tag-driven discovery, and prepares the reader for faster iteration.
Heads-up: Language selection is coming soon in Settings. The groundwork is in this release; the toggle will ship next.
What’s new
UI & navigation
- Tighter top chrome & routes. The search bar is now correctly hidden on reading and dedicated search screens, and the
searchroute is registered in the stack. Safe-area handling was simplified. Also: Side menu and footer passtitle/randomwhen navigating to book details, and BookCard taps forwardid/title - Lighter PaginationBar animation. Scale animation is memoized for more stable frame pacing.
Explore & tags
- One-tap “solo” exploration. Tapping any tag on a Book screen opens Explore with
solo=1, temporarily ignoring global include/exclude filters—perfect for quick, focused digging. Query handling was cleaned up (trim, reset, scroll-to-top).
Reader & book details
- New
PageItemand companion parts. Reader UI is modularized (Hero,Footer,Ring,TagBlock) and backed by focused hooks (useBookData, useColumns, useRelatedComments, etc.)—a base for faster reader features. - “Random again.” When opened from the random route, Book shows a small CTA to fetch another random title without going back; the header keeps the title in sync.
Grid & layout
- Accurate column math. Grid width now subtracts horizontal padding on both sides (
padH * 2)—fixing subtle misalignment in BookList and History. - Grid pre-warm. The config map is loaded before first paint to avoid a brief wrong layout on cold starts.
