Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (Latest Stable)
  • npm or yarn

Installation

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone <https://github.com/Manav437/Huddle>
    cd "Social Media App/frontend/Social-Media-App"
  2. Install dependencies

    npm install
  3. Environment Setup Create a .env file in the root of frontend/Social-Media-App and add your Firebase configuration:

    VITE_FIREBASE_API_KEY=your_api_key
    VITE_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=your_auth_domain
    VITE_FIREBASE_DATABASE_URL=your_database_url
    VITE_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=your_project_id
    VITE_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=your_storage_bucket
    VITE_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=your_sender_id
    VITE_FIREBASE_APP_ID=your_app_id
  4. Run development server

    npm run dev
