SW2 stands for Shallow Worlds, version 2.
Shallow World 2 is a parallel code that implements a Shallow Water model designed for the simulation of atmospheric phenomena in giant gas planets. It runs in desktop computers, clusters and supercomputers.
SW2 is based on SW (Shallow Worlds) that was developed by E. G. Melendo in Esteve Duran Observatory and UPV/EHU in 2013.
SW2 has been developed by M.Soria, A.Miró, A.Prat, A.Sabates, M.Andres-Carcasona and E.G.Melendo in ESEIAAT/UPC.
