A simple tool capable of creating, displaying and modifying citation-related metadata of images.

Install first

ExifTool

• a terminal tool for creating, displaying and modifying metadata

sudo apt-get install libimage-exiftool-perl perl-doc

AppJar

• a simple python gui

pip3 install appjar

Use metach

Download and save gmetach.py in the folder you like to create, display or modify image metadata. It will give you a list of the folder content. Be carefull, only pictures are allowed to use!
