Received "NoSectionError: No section: 'default'" when connecting to mysql database.
Using robotframework, python and pycharm

Without seeing sample code, I am not sure what is going on. Please provide a sample of your code?

Assuming all spacing is correct, this appears to be okay. Can you send the log.html and output.xml and maybe run with debug flag?

Sorry, not where I can test mysql right at moment

Also, can you try adding dbCharSet to the connection string:
Connect To Database pymysql ${DBName} ${DBBUser} ${DBPass} ${DBHost} ${DBPort} ${DBCharSet)

Did the DBCharSet help at all? Have you been able to get a log.html and output.xml files yet?

It looks like something related to Config Parser and not mysql database. My guess is that if you have config file but dont have section we are looking for, it will fail. We could add error handling (or even better, If config file does not contain our section, just ignore it)

It will also happen if there is no config file specified at all but we're missing parameters:

Connect To Db my_module

Above call will fail on getting first missing parameter from config (dbName) - since config was read from non-existing file, it is empty. If the configuration file does not exist and required parameter were not provided from args, it should fail with explicit error message.
