Gameplay Instructions

The game works simple enough. The main prompt shows a list of categories and questions. If a question has already been played the dollar amount is replaced with dashes (----). To select a question for play type in the column number (1-5) followed directly by the question value (1-5).

Ex. - to play the second column $500 question type "25" and press Enter.

Then, you will see the question followed by the answer prompt. Select your choice from the list to see if you are correct. Your score will add up on the main prompt.

When the game is over, you will be prompted to play another round.

Adding Questions/Categories

The questions are dynamically pulled from the XML files in ./Data/ at the time of execution. These can be edited, deleted, or added to. The category name is the filename (less extension). To aid in the creation of additional categories a template file is in the Data directory. Each level of question inside a category may have multiple "item"s. The program will sellect one at random.

The minimum requirements are enough categories and questions per category to fill the board. Adding more questions will just make each game more unique.

I hate this stuff but apparently it is needed. Basically, you can use it as you deem fit, but we are not responsible for anything that may arise out of use.
