Will not open on MacOS

Downloaded the app, extracted got it to my apps folder. run it does the usual oh no not safe open anyway in system settings. but it still cannot open.

Got the same on my side, after approving the security prompt it just says can't open

Hi, thanks for reporting this - the releases from GitHub work on my M4 Mac, but I am still running Sequioa, so perhaps Apple has tightened security. I will need to sign the releases. I'll update this issue once its done and a new release is available 😊

for anyone on Tahoe, would you mind testing these steps to see if this allows you to run SharpIDE?

1. download a fresh zip of the latest release
2. extract
3. move SharpIDE.app to Applications
4. open terminal in Applications
5. run xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine SharpIDE.app
6. attempt to run SharpIDE.app

xattr -l -r SharpIDE.app | grep com.apple.quarantine

This should allow it to run:

1. download a fresh zip of the latest release
2. extract
3. move SharpIDE.app to Applications
4. open terminal
5. run xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine /Applications/SharpIDE.app
6. run sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/SharpIDE.app

if codesign is not installed, install it with xcode-select --install
