Printing a pdf from Python

Is it possible to add a feature to print pdfs of the Mathcad sheet using Python?

If you have Mathcad 5 or newer and a full Mathcad license, it should be possible to export a PDF using the worksheet_object.save_as(...) command. If you dont have a license (i.e. Mathcad Express), it appears it is still possible to export as RTF or XPS, so you could do this and then convert those files to PDF programatically.

I have made some improvements to the document saving part of the code in the documentation branch. If you are able to update your local copy with GIT and install using pip install -e, you should then be able to export as shown in the updated examples.py. I will do another release once I have a bit more of the documentation updated, unless you are really desperate for this functionality in an official released version?

Are you planning to release the new version of MathCadPy soon? I am running into some troubles while saving as pdf for example for the latest v10 of MathCad. I think there is an issue with the get_version() method in the current one? Maybe it is already solved with the changes you mentioned above.

Hi @rparrado.
I have released the documentation branch as 0.5. I trialled this with a copy of Mathcad Prime 10.0.1.0 and everything seemd to work OK. Please may you update and let me know if your issue is resolved?
