Smooth screen brightening when waking from standby

I’d like to suggest a smooth increase in brightness when waking up the display. This could be an optional setting that can be toggled on or off, with an adjustable fade-in duration—for example, 100–500 ms. It would look more natural and professional (similar to how a smartphone screen brightens). Currently, the screen smoothly dims when entering standby mode, so I don't think adding a smooth brightening effect will be a major issue.
