Use single name for Sleep and Standby

On the Controls of device there is a button called "Sleep"
On the configuration there are

• "Auto Standby" (zzz icon which clearly represent sleep)
• "back to page 1 on standby"
• "standby After"
• "standby brigthness"

As a user Sleep and Standby behaviour appear to be the same and using two different terms appear that they are different modes.

I'm just did not understand how they work or they are really the same thing ?
