Mazhar (Maz) Bilgrami is an educator, technologist, and academic operations leader with a strong foundation in Computer Science, instructional innovation, and learner-centered program delivery. He currently serves as an Online Course Manager for Computer Science within Arizona State University's Learning Enterprise, where he manages multi-modal, large-scale instructional operations for foundational CS courses such as CSE 110 - Principles of Programming. In this role, Maz leads grader teams, ensures consistency across session-based and on-demand course models, establishes and monitors success metrics, and partners closely with faculty, learning designers, and STEM leadership to enhance course quality, accessibility, and student success.

Maz is also an Adjunct Professor at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, teaching Computer Information Systems and supporting a highly diverse student population through inclusive instructional practices. His teaching portfolio spans programming fundamentals, Java, C++, Scheme, Prolog, digital design, applied mathematics, and individualized tutoring for computer science learners.

His broader technical background includes software development, HR systems engineering, accessibility support, and cybersecurity education. At Iridium, Maz contributed to HR systems integrations, SQL-based data workflows, technical documentation, and internal automation solutions, including an EV-charging reservation prototype built with Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. As a Software Engineer Intern at Sandler, he developed React and React Native features in an Agile environment. He previously served as a Cybersecurity Lead Undergraduate TA for ASU’s - pwn.college (CSE 365), supporting more than 600 students through teaching, debugging, problem-solving, and CTF demonstrations. Maz also spent four years as an IT Accessibility Intern at Mesa Community College, ensuring ADA/WCAG compliance, training faculty and students on assistive technologies, and enhancing operational processes.

Maz is finishing his MS in Computer Science (in progress, ~2027) and a BS in Computer Science (2023) from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, as well as an AS in Computer Science from Chandler-Gilbert Community College. He is active in academic communities through several ASU organizations, including the ASU Astronomy Club, ASU Geology Club, ASU Software Developers Association, and ASU - Discord CS Café, reflecting his interdisciplinary interests and commitment to scientific literacy.
