Continuous probability submissions made via API don't show in the UI

Current behavior

Based on a comment from @lsabor in #1210, this appears to be a known issue, but since that issue is closed, I'll log this here.

When I submit valid continuous guesses via the API, they are not being rendered in the charts on that question page, nor in the table of confidence values below the chart. This makes debugging/validating my submission quite difficult and confusing, and will be an issue for the AI benchmarking series when continuous questions get added.

Here's a screenshot example, from the projection I posted on 29608:

Expected/desired behavior

Both the density and cumulative chart views should correctly render my distribution, as well as the confidence values in the table below. Even just the confidence values would be a lot better than what I see now.
