Fixes an issue that causes the selected port to become unselected if you have more than one COM port in the dropdown. This can cause the user to accidentally connect to the wrong port. This was due to a mechanism that continually polls for available ports and updates the dropdown list. This fix will skip duplicates the available ports didn't change.
