Description

@user451421541757324

Describe the bug
As the title suggests, articles on the Italian wiki are missing the GET parameter that specifies the language.

Opening a link causes an error that redirects to the main page, effectively rendering the Italian wiki unusable.

  • Japan (English) 🇺🇸

Click on the link to the page about the Pacific Ocean, and it will work as usual.

<a href="/wiki/Pacific_Ocean?lang=en" title="Pacific Ocean">Pacific Ocean</a>

Click on the link to the page about the Oceano Pacifico, and it will redirect you to the English main page.

<a rel="mw:WikiLink" href="/wiki/Oceano_Pacifico" title="Oceano Pacifico" id="mwQQ">Oceano Pacifico</a>

As you can see by inspecting the HTML code, there is no GET parameter.

The issue can be reproduced on many instances, including the official one.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open an Italian article
  2. Click on a link

Expected behavior
The article opens correctly.
