Miktex for Ubuntu 26.04?

I am trying to install miktex on a new machine with Ubuntu 26.04, but (1) there seems to be no instructions regarding how one installs it on Ubuntu 26.04 on the installation page, and (2) the existing commands for noble/jammy universe don't work. Here's the error message I get:

Is Miktex coming to Ubuntu 26.04? How should I proceed?
