This release updates the OpenCode environment with work on code quality and consolidation, bug fixes, verification. The goal is to make the platform clearer, more reliable, and easier to use day to day.

Code Quality And Consolidation

  • Need: This part of the release makes agent behavior more consistent across the supported runtimes.
  • What changed: DRY Consolidation: workflow.ts now imports validateNoLeakedPlaceholders and validateAnchors from validation-utils.ts instead of maintaining inline copies. Hardcoded archive regex replaced with isArchiveFolder() helper from folder-detector.ts. Error messaging extracted to printNoSpecFolderError() helper. Cleanup-orphaned-vectors.ts: Added --dry-run and --help flags for safer operation. Added require.main guard to prevent accidental execution on import. Config.ts: Added validateConfig() function for runtime configuration validation.
  • Why it matters: That matters because the same instructions now behave more predictably in different runtimes.

Bug Fixes

  • Need: This part of the release improves how the environment saves, finds, and uses context.
  • What changed: Dead Code Removed: 8 dead exports from workflow.ts (generateContextMemory, WorkflowResult, ContextMemoryOptions, GenerateContextResult, processConversation, ProcessConversationOptions, generateMarkdown, GenerateMarkdownOptions), dead existingDirs variable from directory-setup.ts, dead SpecFolderInfo export from folder-detector.ts, dead loadConfig from config.ts + barrel, vestigial initializeDataLoaders() lazy loading pattern, dead exports from alignment-validator.ts barrel. Data-loader.ts Marker Inconsistency: _source and _isSimulation markers were applied inconsistently across loading paths. Standardized to consistent application. Workflow.ts Section Numbering: Heading ## 5. Quality and Relevance Score collided with existing section 5. Renumbered to ## 6.
  • Why it matters: That matters because saved context is easier to find, easier to trust, and less likely to get in the way.

Verification

  • Need: This part of the release fixes rough edges and makes the environment more dependable.
  • What changed: Build: tsc --build --force PASS (0 errors) Tests: 3,872 passing, 0 failures.
  • Why it matters: That matters because the environment is easier to maintain and less likely to break in everyday use.
