Pretty self-explanatory. I don't remember exactly how you would add a .exe to the list of startup programs, but Im sure its doable.
Obv, most people downloading VC software set it up first and then leave it running, occasionally taking a peek at how its doing. But if it stops at each shutdown, pretty much no work will be done
