Installation and upgrades

Use Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.265 or later in the 21.1 series. Install the ordinary JARs, not their sources or Javadoc versions.

• Electric Advantage 3.
• Power Advantage Revived 3.1 or later in the 3.x series.
• MMDLib 2.0 for NeoForge.
• MMD OreSpawn 4.1 for NeoForge 1.21.1.

Steam Advantage 3 is optional. Use it for boilers and steam pipe when building a steam-electric works. Several crafting recipes need a compatible materials mod or data pack; successful startup does not prove your pack can craft every machine.

Start a fresh world. Electric Advantage 3 is a rewrite, not a supported migration from Electric Advantage 2.x or baseElectric. Keep old saves and their mod sets separately backed up.
