This guide covers a practical first run of Ethernity for stable v1.

What Ethernity Produces

Ethernity creates printable recovery artifacts for encrypted backups, including:

main backup QR document(s)
recovery document(s)
optional shard documents
optional recovery kit documents

Install

Use the project README for the current install instructions:

First Backup (Recommended Practice)

Start with non-critical test files.
Run a backup and generate printed recovery artifacts.
Perform a full recovery drill before relying on the workflow.
