Modified MC server

Hi. I'd like to know if you gonna make a server for the modpack. I'm playing solo now but would like to play with my friends on my personal server. Tia.

Hey jocky! We have a server up right now, a new version just released yesterday and it Includes several changes to a lot of the core mods so that won’t be fully ready until early next week. You can join the discord here : https://discord.gg/Q3MFMWqx92 Or it should be automatically be in your server browser! You can still join and play as you wish with your friends, however things like /home and some of the other essential type commands aren’t fully set up and quests are being worked on right now so there’s more to do! Join the discord and get the pack updates or notified role to stay up to date with the changes. Sorry this GitHub is for the 1.16 version which isn’t supported anymore. I’ll get these pages updated ASAP for the 1.20 content! EDIT: included a discord link without a time limit so invite can be used if this thread is referenced in the future Jake — ModifiedMC

Hi Jake. Thanks a lot for the quick response. I usually host the server on my pc with localhost. Are you gonna make server files apart or we have to play on your server. One question, I usually use FTB Ultimine, but doesn't seems to work. Have a nice day.

No problem at all! Yea curseforge is just slow on accepting server files right now, as they have everything going through manual review I believe. I was thinking about making a resources channel on discord though so I can post those in the mean time. Which version did you need a server pack for? For ftb ultimine there is the vein mining enchant which by default works similar to ultimine- for trees there is a tree chop mod which basically makes it so you cut 50% of the tree when it’s above 10 blocks, you cut 70% of the tree when it’s 6-9 blocks, and all of the tree if its 5 or smaller Any other questions feel free to reach me on discord in the modified mc server or @ jaker.zzz on discord

Thanks again. Continue your good work. Version 4.1.1 for the server. BTW, just to let you know, it's the only modpack that FTB Ultimine is not working. But i will try vein miner.

Hi. I install the 4.1 version, it has a server file. Strange, and FTB Ultimine is working in the server. :)
But i have a problem with the server. I'm hosting the server on localhost. But everytimes i disconnect completely, when i restart my game, my server has disappeared from the list of server.

the 4.1 version will have different updates of mods then 4.1.1/2/3 if you're using any of those updates... unsure why local host would remove from your server list. You can either add it to the "Desired Servers" config or remove that mod.. it may be incompatible. Since its just client side you can remove it no issues - it just allows me to add in server to the multiplayer menu by default.

The most recent version of the pack includes many bug fixes for crashes with regions unexplored / teralilth ( the biome / world gen mods)

Heres a server pack for that version, CF is lagging behind by quite a few days with server files being approved.
