[Developer] Can't enable fast-forwarding/skipping

I'm trying to make a version of MAS with cheats in it, so I wanted to add one that allows fast-forwarding/skipping.

I currently have that code in script-topics but it seems that when I ask Monika some random question and hold CTRL to skip it, it doesn't let me skip and it just instantly disables it.

Also, the Skip button doesn't light up. I've looked in the main loop file script-ch30 (or whatever it's called) but I can't find out what's disabling it.
