For people using Kimi Code CLI with hooks: myc — https://github.com/aistastudio/myc — is a local task-and-memory layer that has first-class Kimi support, so I'm sharing it here.
myc wire --agents kimiadds two hooks to~/.kimi-code/config.toml—SessionStart(inject the project's context packet) andPreCompact(save the session episode to disk right before compaction and print a rescue packet back) — plus the MCP server. The hook command is guarded so it only runs in projects that actually have myc wired (if [ -f .kimi-code/myc-hooks.mjs ]), because Kimi's hook config is user-wide, not per project. The project's report on how Kimi's hook input/output differs from Claude Code's is in the repo (docs/reports/REPORT-harness-kimi-codex.md).What you get: a task queue with dependencies and atomic claims, a memory of decisions with hybrid search, memory anchored to code spans, and a tree-sitter code index — in one SQLite file next to the repo, shared with Claude Code / Codex / opencode sessions on the same project. No network calls of its own, no API key.
Limits: Bun runtime only, macOS/Linux, single user. MIT.
