Screen Kit Information
Here's a list of screen kits that have been tested with the AGBM. In general, if the screen kit only requires a 5V supply, it should work, but it's not guaranteed. If you want to add a screen kit to this list, let me know.
Power draw: ~95 mW to ~415 mW
My notes: There's some light bleed around the edge that can be seen through transparent or translucent shells, so you'll need to cover that if you're using one of those shells. This kit has really low power draw though so you can get really good battery life.
Power draw: ~380 mW to ~620 mW
My notes: I think this one is my favorite. It's not as power hungry as the Hispeedido one, but still has a really vibrant screen. It also uses the higher quality FP shells. You can also customize the logo! You can download the Game Boy Enhance logo here if you wanna use it.
Power draw: ~330 mW to ~740 mW (pixel mode 1)
My notes: These kits look nice, but the shells that come with it are honestly not great. They don't fit together very well. I've purchased two shells and both feel the same way, so I don't think it's a one-off thing. Also, the clear shell I purchased became a bit yellowed, somehow, it might have been my fault but I'm not sure how it could have happened.
