Image upload not working correctly

Hi, I just updated cellpose to the newest version and I cannot drop in the images from folders as I was able before - the cursor changes to the black crossed circle.
In additon when I load the images via Ctrl+L, the phase image displayed is distorted (the bridgtness/contrast for each pixel line seems to be adjusted individually, please see attached image).

Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix this?

UPDATE: the drag and drop was fixed with reinstalling Anaconda navigator.
The image display issue was not solved by that, or by creating new environment and installing Cellpose from the beginning.
UPDATE2: I installed the previous version I had before upgrading (0.6) and does not have this issue with displaying images. My old, already analysed images also open like this in the newest version.

Same for me :-(
Images are not correctly loaded into celllpose (the last version that works for me is v. 0.7.2)

Images loaded in v.0.8.0 seem to be oversaturated.
Images loaded in v.1.0 contain stripes and seem to be wrongly decoded (in my case it was a 16bit png image)

Note that this is not only a display issue! The nucleus detection is working incorrectly in v 1.0, as it "sees" all the stripes and artifacts.

sorry for the trouble I think this is fixed, please try the latest github version, pip install git+https://github.com/mouseland/cellpose.git. if not I'll reopen the issue

Just tried it out: The stripes are gone, and nucleus segmentation seems to work again as expected.
