Performance when scrolling a list of ~200 ExpansionPanels containing an average of 3 MudTooltip's each, and each tooltip containing one MudMenu is.. not good. The reason seems to be a scroll event calling into placePopoverByClassSelector. Removing the menu helps bit. Removing the tooltip but keeping the menu helps a bit. Removing both removes the scroll event call into placePopoverByClassSelector, which makes the issues go away and the scroll to go smoothly. Inserting if (popoverContentNode.classList.contains('mud-popover-open') == false) {
return;
} to line mudPopover.js line 12 solves the scroll performance issues entirely. This might of course very well have side effects that some popovers are not placed correctly if they are never positioned (maybe force position upon open?) I see no errors on the page where I saw the perf problems, but... |
