How does mpd construct ffmpeg argument invocation?

In my way to resolve #2464 . Would love to do a PR for this project since it helps me resolve several pain point since mpd makes listening music in Windows much more pleasant for me.

I don't .. understand this question. Do you believe MPD invokes /usr/bin/ffmpeg?

well more logs on my issue, tldr I thought it did invoke ffmpeg.

No, MPD calls into the underlying ffmpeg libraries, i.e. libavformat, libavcodec etc. - you can see that in the source code.
