Quick Setup
Available from MustardUI 2026.6
The Quick Setup tool lets you set up a working UI on any model in a few clicks, without going through the whole Configuration process. It is the fastest way to get a usable MustardUI on a model that does not ship with one.
Quick Setup configures the basic functions of the UI automatically:
- Outfits — collections are detected and added to the Outfits panel.
- Hair — hair collections are added to the Hair panel.
- Extras — extra collections (objects not affected by outfit selection) are added.
- Armature — bone collections are added to the Armature panel, including the automatic IK/FK snapper for models that do not have a dedicated external panel (such as non-standard MHX, Rigify and ARP rigs). See Generic IK/FK Snapper.
Note
Quick Setup focuses on the basic functions to get a model up and running quickly. More options will be supported in future versions. For full control over every setting, use the complete Configuration mode.
- Quick Setup generates a complete basic UI from scratch on a model with no configuration.
- Smart Check evaluates an existing configuration and fills in recommended settings for the panels you already use.
After running Quick Setup, all imported settings can be reviewed and modified later in the Configuration menu.
