Note: UI languages are different from speech recognition and translation languages. Speech recognition is provided by Windows Live Captions.
Choose between Google Translate and Tencent TranSmart in the translation settings.
繁體中文提醒： 中國大陸用戶建議優先選擇 騰訊翻譯（Tencent TranSmart）。Google 翻譯在部分網路環境下可能無法正常使用。
Online translation requires an internet connection. Translation quality and response times depend on the selected service and network conditions.
- Download and fully extract the Windows ZIP from Releases.
- Run
LiveCaptionV1.5.0.exewhile keeping the_internalfolder in place. - Select your preferred UI language.
- Choose System Audio or Microphone.
- Configure translation and recording settings as needed.
- Start capturing captions and save your TXT transcripts.
Previously saved recordings can be accessed through History.
- Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit).
- Speech Recognition: Windows Live Captions.
- Internet Connection: Required for online translation.
- Python: Not required for the packaged EXE.
- Security: The application is not currently code-signed. Windows may display a security warning. Verify the download source before running it.
