- change the name and address,
- choose a folder (or New folder…),
- or Remove the bookmark.
Click the ★ (or press Ctrl+D) on a bookmarked page to edit or remove it. New bookmarks go into the folder you used last. Orbit saves the site's icon with the bookmark so it shows even offline.
Appears under the toolbar once you have a bookmark or folder. Bookmarks at the top level show as buttons. Folders show a folder button that opens a drop-down, including subfolders, bookmarks, and Open all in new tabs.
- Middle-click a bookmark to open it in a new tab.
- Right-click a bookmark: Open in new tab · Edit… · Delete.
- Right-click a folder: Open all in new tabs · New subfolder… · Rename… · Delete folder.
- Right-click empty space: New folder… · Bookmark manager · Hide bookmarks bar.
Open with Ctrl+B or menu (⋮) → Bookmarks.
- Tree of all folders and bookmarks, with search.
- Drag a bookmark or folder onto a folder to move it (a folder can't go inside itself). Right-click a bookmark → Move to works too.
-
Rename / Edit (
F2), Delete (Del), Open (Enteror double-click). - Deleting a folder deletes everything inside it, after a confirmation.
In the bookmark manager:
- Export HTML writes the standard bookmarks file (folders included) that other browsers can import.
- Import HTML reads such a file from another browser. Folders are kept, and bookmarks you already have in the same folder are skipped.
