What

This is code branched off from branch NIAD-3125_pipeline (PR 162), commit afdb3da (Revert "Temporarily removing integration tests to unblock pipeline").
The above commit allowed the pipeline to proceed to end-to-end tests stage. We have now removed those tests to push the pipeline further.
