Dithering setting doesn't stay disabled

When I choose to disable Dithering for both my displays in Nvidia Settings and then close and reopen Nvidia Settings, it reverts back to "Auto - Enabled". I can also see in the .nvidia-settings.rc file after saving it with Dithering disabled that there is a bunch of "Dithering=0" (for Auto) lines instead of the expected "Dithering=2" (for Disabled)

I can set to disable dithering though the command line with:

nvidia-settings --assign="Dithering=2"

And then checking if dithering is disabled with:

nvidia-settings -q CurrentDithering

shows that it is indeed disabled.

Not sure why setting it though the GUI does not work.

Same issue for me. Thank you for the comment, as I have been struggling with this for a few hours now. Main monitor flickered with dithering enabled, so I threw nvidia-settings --assign="Dithering=2" in my ~/.xinitrc file, fixed my issue.
