Downloads

Prebuilt extensions for Chrome and Firefox are included in the release/ folder of this repository for immediate use. They are also available in the Releases section.

Build from Source

To build the extension personally:

1. Clone this repository.
2. Run the build script:

   ./build.sh

   This creates the dist/ (folders) and release/ (compressed packages) directories.

Loading the Extension

1. Chrome/Brave/Edge:
   • Go to chrome://extensions.
   • Enable "Developer mode".
   • Click "Load unpacked" and select the dist/chrome folder.
2. Firefox:
   • Go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
   • Click "Load Temporary Add-on...".
   • Select the manifest.json inside the dist/firefox folder.

Usage

1. Navigate to your AI chat (e.g., chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com).
2. Open the ChatWraps extension from your browser toolbar.
3. Select your desired format (e.g., PDF, Markdown).
4. Click the Export button.
5. Your chat will be downloaded instantly.
