This release contains the original, unextracted place files for the Mocap-Demo project.

Why? As xlx2tree does not and will not support compiling the repository back into a place file, you can download these files to jump into Studio.

Assets Included

  • Mocap-Demo.rbxl: The standard binary Roblox place file. Best for fast loading.
  • Mocap-Demo.rbxlx: The monolithic XML Roblox place file. Best if you want to inspect the raw XML structure manually.

Features in this Demo

  • Interactive vending machine using ProximityPrompts.
  • 2 custom, 1 redundant Video-to-Mocap animations (CoinIn, Pickup, Drink Pickup sequence includes the drink sequence).
  • Client-side camera manipulation locking to the character's head for a little cinematic feel.
  • CFrame item welding (LeftHand attachment).

Warning

Animation Ownership Restriction: Due to recent Roblox Creator policy updates, animations are now restricted to the creator's personal usage. Because the animations are referenced by ID, they will fail to load in your place since the game engine verifies ownership at runtime.

How to fix: I have attached the raw .rbxm animation sequence files in the Releases. Download them, import them into your Studio project, publish the animations to your own account, and replace the AnimationId properties in the scripts with your new IDs.
