June 2026 - Project Updates

With the recent v0.7.0-alpha release a few weeks ago, Basic4GLj is 99% "done" and the next release will be focused on getting the project to an official 1.0 release 🎊 🥳 🎉

Significant progress has been made getting a plugin SDK put together to call the Basic4GL Java port complete, with the next few weeks being focused on getting docs, examples, and the settings UI all in place.

Hi, I am so curious and I want to ask one question. BASIC dialect authors like to use Itch to make webpages for their dialects very much: https://itch.io/t/5671476/basic-dialects-on-itch

They can receive feedback about their dialects from Itch members. In fact, some authors received a lot of feedback:

Hi - definitely interested in making an Itch page for Basic4GLj.
I'm hoping to work more on documentation webpages once I get the 1.0 beta version ready - so I'll be sure to look more into Itch webpages then as well.
