You will need Z2M dev/edge (or at least Nov 2025 release) for coordinator (zigbee_ncp) use. zigbee-herdsman 6.2.0 or later

Important

Adapters with CH3xx serial chips using software flow control (like older variants of the Sonoff ZBDongle-E) may not work properly with this release (for openthread & zigbee_ncp). If you cannot start Zigbee2MQTT after flashing the firmware, revert back to 8.0.2.

I flashed two Smlight ethernet adapters with v2025.6.2-pre0 firmware : SLZB-06M and SLZB-06Mg24.
Baudrate 115200
Software flow control

I have two Z2M running but the config is quite the same :

There are 11 devices on SLZB-06M and 77 devices on SLZB-06Mg24.

As for now everything is running fine for more than an hour.

I have also a Sonoff ZBDongle-E adapter and planed to use it as a router. However I don't know what hardware version it is and I wonder if I can use it with your recent 8.2.2 router firmware, @Nerivec. Some tips are welcome.

The note about the CH variant issue is regarding the serial connection, so, for router, it does not matter since you just plug it into a socket, no need to connect to it like a coordinator with Z2M.
In short, you should be fine. Let me know if you encounter any issues though.
Note: you can always flash back to another version if needed.

I've kept pre-release status for a few versions due to various problems with some chips as described in the release notes (e.g. Yellow has a bug that prevents firmware building on this version, Dongle-E with CH3xx variants refuses to start on all versions since 8.0.x...).
We're waiting for Silabs fixes... Next version should be sometime in December.

Though I'll probably make a new release soon, this version appears to be pretty good, the few chips with problems will just be excluded....
