Surfaced in link#55. v0.20.0 review identified two issues: (1) param naming inconsistent with function (known provenance term post-rename to overlay), (2) target tables keyed by id_segment can't overlay from sources keyed by (blk, drm) without a bridge. Pre-1.0 cleanup.
