I'm so glad SoulSync is helping you out. It's been a long dev process to get here with a long way to go. Trying to build something that is very much an all-in-one suite and that goes against the grain a bit. Trying to compete against the core *arr suite is another beast entirely XD. I plan on putting in the time to make both halves of soulsync the community recommendation. Who knows what it will be like in one more year. Officially I started developing this exactly one year ago yesterday. |

"I’ve spent a long time relying on the ARRs, which was a great foundation for years. However, after minimal enhancements and the constant need to rely on community scripts and plugins—often dealing with issues just to get core features working—the rigid reliance on MusicBrainz as the sole metadata source became a major bottleneck. When artists were tagged properly but weren't recognized by MusicBrainz, it was frustratingly limiting.
SoulSync is a total breath of fresh air. It breaks through those long-standing limitations I've dealt with for years. It’s not just about audio anymore, either; the way it handles video is incredibly impressive. I know many are hesitant about merging audio and video into one platform. Every user deserves the option to toggle specific features on or off. Whether someone wants all in one, or just wants to stick to movies without TV shows or music, having that 'on/off' switch for specific settings should be a standard across all apps. That is something we can all hope to see more of.
The speed of development is fantastic, and I’m very interested in seeing where this goes next. There is much valid discourse around AI these days, which is always concerning. Users and developers must always take caution using AI. But AI is now part of our lives; no matter how much people may not want it. So, everyone should always take caution with software if it is being developed or edited with AI. But to see the developers rush to bug reports and enhancement features is very impressive. Keep up the great work—it’s awesome to see this kind of progress, and I’m definitely going nowhere. I’ll be using SoulSync however it evolves."
