CPU spikes

NPM spikes CPU use every 15 to 40 seconds, without traffic. Can't seem to identify the cause. Even if I block ports 80 and 443 on the router, it still spikes, altough no requests are made. I'm on a EC2 vm and i'd like to reduce this CPU usage. It happens also on a local raspberry pi.

Same here. The process causing the peaks in the container:
213 191 root S 337m 4% 0 0% node --abort_on_uncaught_exception --max_old_space_size=250 index.js

Exact same issue here, zero traffic and it spikes to 10% a few times a minute

Well... it's been 4 months... so sad.

Got the same Problem on Docker Desktop for Windows 3.0.4 (51218).

I use the latest Image ( Create 2021-01-12 02:34:21 )

Hey guys, maybe this helps:

So, deleting the containers and recreate them with the docker-compose file helped in my case.
If you dont have your compose file anymore, get the new and fill in the parameters you are using for your containers, including mounts.

Hi, I noticed that the spikes disappeared with the newest latest image (released Aug 25). Not sure about earlier versions, I did not use npm for a long time.
