Langfordia : Midsize map on a private server. ~17000 chunks, automated incremental updates every three hours take ~10 minutes. c10t-generated flat maps are also publicly viewable.

Render script runs both day and night back to back. Full render takes over night (~9 hours) on a 2.8 Ghz Pentium 4. Updates are between 15 minutes to a few hours depending on how much the players explore.

Full rendering takes less than an hour on AMD X6 with 8Gb RAM, but full PNG optimization takes more than 10 hours.
