  • http://overviewer.org/example/ : small test map, regenerated every night from the latest Overviewer code and on-demand at developer's request; always uses every rendermode, no mods, no changes, just vanilla Overviewer.
  • http://map.meincraft.eu/ : Very very huge map over 2 million chunks ~7GB. Renders every night at 4am.
  • http://minecraft.writhem.com/ : Real world render used for developer testing and development; Unlisted Semi-Private server; usually contains most plugins that are available in the Available Modifications wiki page.
  • http://minecraftonline.com/map/ : Awesome, huge map ~500,000 chunks, day and night mode with biomes and full lighting. Continuous incremental updates on quad i5, world directory on ramdrive, tile output on twin SSD drives in RAID-1. Map occupies ~20GB, cache around 200GB.
  • TheDailyAutist : ~3.9K regions/~2.6M chunks (~12GB). Tiles use ~136GB for lighting + night rendermodes. Incremental updates take ~6 hours.
  • http://minecraft.novylen.net/map : server map about 8GiB, Overviewer map 18GiB at the time of writing [Sep. 6 2011], Incremental updates once daily takes about two hours. --rbos

  • Langfordia : Midsize map on a private server. ~17000 chunks, automated incremental updates every three hours take ~10 minutes. c10t-generated flat maps are also publicly viewable.
  • http://mc.quake3world.com/mcmap/ : Map with MapMarkers plug-in showing current players. Hosted on linode 1024 plan. Initial render took about 3 hours; updates take anywhere from 3-25 minutes, depending on player activity.
  • http://www.saturnvalley.org/minemap : Growing world with ~5 players. Tourist attractions include the airship, the lighthouse, and several active water features.
  • http://files.fusselwurm.de/minecraft/map/ : private world w/ ~5 players. map updated daily.
  • http://anbservers.net/minemap/minemap : White list Assault -N- Battery community server ~10 players, ~200000 chunks, updated once a week.
  • http://server.minecraft.name/map/ : Great example map, ~45000 chunks (~600MB). Takes 6h rendering on an AMD64X2 3800+
  • http://minecraft404.net/map/: Public Australian Server, Setup for creative play. 10-20 Active users.
  • http://MCearth.lawsofminecraft.com : 7.5 GB, Normal, Night and Cave with spawn overlay ~80 Active players a month, Whitelist and BigBrother protected. Australian!
  • http://ssd.servehttp.com/minecraft/map/ : 19 person, Permissions enabled, Multi-world, biome tinting, web-to-game chat, Ad Sense enabled. North direction rotated to upper left. Updated every 6 hours. Sky-Rail, Pirate Ship, Castle, another being built, Status to Bender the Robot, Sand Pyramid, Creeper Statue, and way more being built!   • http://succexy.com/overviewer/ : private server, ~10 active players, ~250MB world.
  • http://sixgun.org/map/community : Server of the Linux Outlaws community, world size around 250 MB with ca. 80 players - vanilla Overviewer, multiple rendermodes
  • http://minecraft.karui.fr/ : private server, ~10 white-listed players, ~500MB world. Renders normal, night and cave every morning at 6am. PNGs are optimized using pngout and served with nginx. Full rendering takes less than an hour on AMD X6 with 8Gb RAM, but full PNG optimization takes more than 10 hours.
  • http://sucs.org/~tswsl1989/minecraft/ : Private server. Requires around 2 hours for a full render (night, lighting and a couple of overlays using render mode options). World ~250MB, Output ~5.0GB. Updated every 4 hours.
  • http://www.fuyuri.com/map.php : Public server. About 5 hours to complete a render from scratch, 20 minutes for update (night and lighting). Uses browman's default overviewer with custom player markers, and a few personal tweaks. World is ~1.3 GB. Output is ~130GB (JPG). Updated every 2 hours.
  • http://minecraft.nenesse.net : Private server. Uses browman's default overviewer with Biome and mods: Sundial, McWeather, Online Player, ChatterCraft and Waypoints. Small map with 3 players, Updated every 2 days.

  • http://mc.minecraftstuff.net : Runs ChatterCraft and WarpMarkers. Map size: 3.2 GB, world size 462M.
  • http://creepandpeep.net/minecraft : Currently a small map (~50 MB) hosted on a VPS. Day, night and cave maps are automatically updated every morning from the latest backup ftp'd down from the commercial hosted minecraft server. Link to latest map download on the page.
