I'm certainly interested in that answer too. Swapping from "10 day" to "15 day" is a prescription swap and that pretty much ties us in to 90 days minimum in the US, so if it doesn't work that would mean swapping to the companion app approach (which I assume does work). Perhaps someone can get a single test G7 from their doc and try it? The doc has to write the prescription so isn't going to be happy doing that unless sure that the 15-day version will be ok. |

I don't live in the US. Therefore, I cannot get one of these myself. If someone has one of these, and they use Android, there is a non-destructive process I can walk them through to add support if possible. After that, they can switch back to the official app if they desire. |

It seems to be working fine. |

Does the new G7 handle communication differently from the 10 day G7 ? I was hoping it would be the same and would just work like an older G7. |

I can confirm that the new G7 15 day sensor works on the nightly build of xDrip. I have noticed one issue that it will not backfill data if you lose connection or you left your phone somewhere and come back 30 minutes later. I will open a separate case for this issue. |
Uh oh!

I'm just writing here because the new Dexcom G7 15 day sensors are being advertised here in the USA. I was wondering if anyone has tested them with xDrip yet. Apparently, an app update for the Dexcom G7 app is required, and perhaps a Dexcom receiver update. Anyone tried them yet at all? Thoughts?
