This is a sample app decomposed in 4 components (microservives) giving an icecream recommendation based on someones preference, location and current weather.
The services are communicating over Apache Kafka.
The app is used to outline different ways of instrumenting applications and working with distributed tracing, metrics and logs and building an observability stack.
