Pyrowave bitrates

I'm curious how the recommended bitrates settings for Pyrowave are determined. Even on my 5Gbps all-wired connection, Moonlight VRR, connected to Vibepollo, never recommends more than (IIRC) something like 740Mbps for 4K at 116fps with 4:4:4.

But most of the discussions I see about Pyrowave suggest it should be at least twice that and might spike higher?

In any case, it looks good at the suggested bitrates at tv-to-couch distances, and I also haven't seen any downside jacking it up to 2 or 3 Gbps (just because I can), but I'm wondering what the basis is for the recommendation.
