Script Extender doesn't update and work

Bug Summary

@Norbyte I try both install manually and through mod manager, and Script Extender just act nothing when I launch the game and the mod manager keeps showing it is v56. Tried re-download the game, Script Extender and mod manager but nothing works. My game is on steam and is definitely the newest. Please help if there is way to update it manually. Attached the mod I use and the mod manager page.

As I tried everything I found this day, I find out the mod is not working at all. Even if I download the v60 Extender and put it in bin file it still not working and keep showing v56, and I subscribe other mod on steam which require V56 can't work properly. I assume the Extender is not working at all, which I don't know why. I have the net framework 4.7.2 (or higher ver) installed.

Same thing. I can't play with mods, even with just Epip or LeaderLib – story creation error.

Exact same issue, been chasing my tail for hours diving through reddit posts and trying everything. Seems the script extender actually breaks the game now, which is beyond depressing

I remove all my mods, and with the extender installed I get 'story creation error' and a random 4 NPCs at the start of the game.

Someone at nexusmods reported that the updater will only update to v60 on a legit copy of the game (he had the same problem and then installed it through steam and then the updater updated to v60)

But I also vote for Norbyte to upload v60 directly without extender for download...

I re-installed my system and the mod got work. I don't know why but it worked :(
