We are thrilled to announce the first official Beta release of Aster Browser! Engineered specifically for power users, Aster is a lightweight, privacy-first web browser built to maximize performance and minimize resource drain.

Currently, this beta is available exclusively for Windows. (Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android support are currently in the pipeline and marked as Coming Soon).

🛠️ Under the Hood

Aster is built on a highly optimized modern stack utilizing Electron, Node.js, and TypeScript. Rather than building a custom engine from scratch, we focused on extreme UI/UX optimization and custom resource-limiting logic on top of a reliable foundation to deliver a feature-rich browser on day one.

📥 Installation (Windows Only)

1. Download the Aster-Beta-v0.1.0-Windows.exe file attached below.
2. Run the installer.
3. Experience the web like never before.

Note: As this is a closed-source beta, Windows SmartScreen might prompt a warning. This is normal for new proprietary software.

⚠️ Known Beta Issues

• Being a Beta version, you might encounter minor UI glitches or animation stutters.
• Web Automator is currently in early access and may not fully support complex CAPTCHA bypasses.
• Please report any bugs directly in our GitHub Issues tab.

Aster is distributed as a closed-source proprietary application. By downloading and using this software, you agree to our Custom Proprietary License Agreement, which explicitly prohibits reverse engineering or unauthorized redistribution.
