Summary of Changes
Hello @ThePrunerator, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!
This pull request focuses on refining the frontend interface and streamlining the application's configuration and codebase. It includes an important update to how the frontend connects to the backend, visual improvements for displaying meeting lists, and the removal of components and assets that are no longer needed, contributing to a cleaner and more maintainable codebase.
Highlights
- Frontend Proxy Configuration Update: The
proxysetting infrontend/package.jsonhas been updated fromhttp://backend:8000tohttp://webworkdgx:8000. This change ensures the frontend development server correctly proxies API requests to the new backend service name, which is crucial for local development and integration. - User Interface Refinements for Meeting List: I've introduced a new CSS class
.meetings-scroll-wrapperinfrontend/src/MeetingTranscriptionApp.cssto enhance the layout and scrolling behavior of the meeting list. This class has been applied to the meeting list rendering infrontend/src/MeetingTranscriptionApp.js, improving the visual presentation and user experience for browsing past meetings. - Codebase Cleanup and Component Removal: The
frontend/src/components/Transcribe.jscomponent, which previously handled audio file uploads and transcription display, has been removed. This suggests a refactoring or consolidation of transcription-related functionality elsewhere in the application. Additionally, the unusedfrontend/src/logo.svgfile was deleted as part of general asset cleanup.

Code Review
This pull request cleans up the UI by making the meetings list scrollable and removing unused files. I've identified a hardcoded proxy URL that could break the application in different environments and suggested moving an inline style to a CSS class for better maintainability.
