🦊 Pet Persona Guide

As the Pet / Submissive, you complete daily habit checklists, earn XP, advance levels, collect species currency, redeem rewards, and submit new reward proposals.

1. Daily Checklist & XP Engine

  • Completing Routines: Tap any task checkmark on the Home screen to complete a daily task.
  • Earning XP: Completing a task rewards +25 XP.
  • Level Progression: As your XP bar fills, you level up! The XP required to reach the next level is governed by: $$XP_{\text{needed}}(L \to L+1) = 100 + (L-1) \times 50$$
  • Level Milestones: Leveling up triggers fanfare animations, canvas confetti, and Web Audio API synthesizer chimes, advancing your rank title (Novice Pet 🐣 to Supreme Royalty 👑).
  • Midnight Auto-Reset: All task checkmarks automatically reset at midnight local time (00:00) for a fresh checklist every day.

2. Species Currencies & Points Balance

Your points balance is denominated in your custom species currency:

Points are awarded when your Owner logs Green 🟢 or Yellow 🟡 calendar days. Your total balance is displayed in the header banner and in the Rewards Hub.

3. Rewards Hub & Proposing Items

Navigate to the Rewards tab to spend your hard-earned species currency:

  • Redeeming Rewards: Tap Redeem on any available store item if you have sufficient points. Points are immediately deducted from your balance and the request enters the redemption queue.
  • Canceling Requests: You can cancel pending redemption requests prior to Owner review to receive an immediate refund of spent points.
  • Proposing New Rewards: Want a reward not yet in the store? Tap + Propose Reward, enter the title, description, and suggested point cost, and send it to your Owner for review!

4. Profile & Mascot Customization

Under Settings:

  • Species Customization: Switch between Puppy 🐶, Kitty 🐱, Fox 🦊, or Custom species personas.
  • Custom Avatar & Icons: Set a custom avatar image URL or pick custom species icons.
  • Praise Terms: Set your preferred praise terms (e.g., "Good girl!").
  • Theme Modes & Presets: Choose from 4 environment modes (Midnight Dark, Obsidian Black, Clean Light, Soft Cream) or 6 curated color presets.
  • Security PIN: Configure a 4-digit PIN lock for extra privacy on sensitive actions.
