  • Document the recording sources The microphone section becomes the list of sources: inputs, output devices, system sound. Track layout per source, every source on the recording's clock, and the smaller mentions across the pages.

  • The settings window: search, and right click to reset a slider How a query is matched and ordered, how hidden controls are still found, and why volume has no reset. The Picture tab table gains its Compare section.

  • The program is called qBlank Every page now says the name the program carries from 4.0 on. What still says CapView says it deliberately: the shared section names the camera is found through, the migrator, and the sentences that are about a version which really was called that. Updates gains the section the rename needed -- the migrator shipped under the old file name, the release asked for by repository number and asset label, the executable that renames itself on its first start, and settings recognised by their contents rather than by their file name. Home, Building and Configuration point at it.

  • Document the source line count and the ungated CRT section Scaling and sharpening: gLinePitch is now what decides where the gaps sit, so the snippet and the four decisions say so, and the gain table is recomputed at the 0.5 cap the slider actually has rather than carried forward from an analytic pass at 0.7. New sections for the declared line count and for the message that appears when the window has no room, plus the two demonstration images. The settings window: the 576-line gate on the cathode ray tube section is gone in 3.7 and is described where it used to be, with the reason it was wrong -- the mask never depended on the source at all, and the gaps depend on output rows per picture line, not on a line count. Configuration and profiles: nativeWidth is still dropped above 576 lines whatever the declared count says.

  • Re-sort the Picture tab section by how often a setting is touched And state plainly what the order cannot fix: the composite filter and the CRT section are neighbours, and only a tab of its own would separate them.

  • Document how the Picture tab is ordered Correctness before cosmetics, and why the composite filter and the CRT section are kept at opposite ends of it.

  • Document the pipeline delay in place of frame age The overlay row was renamed and now measures to the present rather than to the start of the draw. Latency gets the new definition, the measured figures for both deinterlacing modes, and an explicit list of what sits outside the span -- including the point that on 480i the card's own field capture is the largest term in the whole chain and the one nothing in here can see. The settings window's 0.5 to 1.6 ms was measured under the old definition and is marked as such rather than restated, since it has not been measured again.

  • Correct four details that had drifted from the code Read against the source rather than against memory: Deinterlacing named AM_INTERLACE_FIELD_PATTERN_FIELD1FIRST. The flag the code tests in the VIDEOINFOHEADER2 is AMINTERLACE_Field1First. The settings window named AdjustWindowRectEx. The call is AdjustWindowRect. Signal detection gave kSignalSnowDelta as 48 in three places. It is 65, and it was raised for a reason worth writing down, so the reason is there now too. Latency quoted an idle floor of a flat 200 ms. IdleFloorMs() has since become two numbers: 16 ms while something on screen animates itself, 200 ms otherwise. The measured 4.7 fps of a fully idle window is in the text.
