Code Lists

As stated in the Criteria section of this Wiki, Code Lists are a fundamental part of ESPD-EDM, as these codes are needed to clearly delimit the semantics of the criteria.

A number of information elements values are constrained (or should be constrained) to be those in a list of codes known as Code Lists; the specific Code Lists used in business transactions must be common between business partners in order to achieve interoperability. For each code list a corresponding issuer agency is identified including a hyperlink to the source. While the listId uniquely identifies the code list, the genericode files can be used for the implementation.

The spread-sheet containing the Code Lists can be accessed in docs/src/main/asciidoc/modules/ROOT//dist/cl/ods repository folder, while all the genericode files are located in the docs/src/main/asciidoc/modules/ROOT//dist/cl/gc.

In version 3.0.0 of the ESPD-EDM, code lists have been updated with the purpose of aligning its usage as much as possible with eForms. For more information about the Code Lists in ESPD-EDM, refer to the Annex I Code lists used in ESPD of the online documentation.
